Lacemaker's Lace

The original fan was purchased in Burano, Venice, but it had been closed up before the glue was dry. When I arrived home I removed the original machine made lace and replaced it with a fan leaf I designed from the pattern on the sticks. Worked in mercerised cotton and metallic threads on a cotton net in a Limerick style.
